Cuts for us are the norm. They simply get incentive pay rises for doing a good job in cutting our services. For instance in Norwich they have saved 'Sensory Support' by linking it to the N.N.A.B; but cut Sensory Support's budget by 40 per cent. I haven't heard the Chief Ececutive of Norfolk County Council, having to cut his budget by 40 per cent, even on a voluntary basis.
Paul

The Big Issue Too.

The 'Big Issue' and the 'Big Society' seem to have something in common. They are both in their different quarters, the former journalism, the latter politics, both like elephants invisible to everybody else in the room, who does not want to take the trouble to notice them. Either we are not interested in 'tag' journalism. Somebody trying to stick a price tag on us and then charging us for a newspaper we don't want. Or similarly a political idea about 'volunteering' not paid for as good middle class thrifty people we don't want for nothing either. The working class may want both the Big Issue, and the Big Society. But they can't pay for them. The middle class can pay for them but doesn't want to buy something that seems to imply they both don't seem to need to be paid for. This range of weather incidents will not continue permantly. Our UK. weather is affected by the Northern Polar Jet stream; of course it can be cold. There is also the Solar 12 year old cycle which is late this year. You can see the s
Solar Cycle; some aspects of which are the lack of sun-spot this year. The jet stream because it is at the end of it's cycle is very slow and meandering. The tail waggles a bit over the U.K.
Looking at our climate needs a heeds a historical viewpoint.
In medieval times delicious wine was home grown. In the eighteenth century the River Thames was frozen. They held a 'barbecue' there.
Paul

Mouse In House.

To my shame I missed listening to yesterdays Norwich match.
